Francesca Vajra, Live from her family's estate in Barolo Italy. This was a rare opportunity to partake in a live conversation and tasting with Francesca Vajra, the family ambassador of a prestigious Italian winery, straight from the source in Barola, Italy.

In February, Bel Pre Beer & Wine & sister store Dixie Liquor hosted our first virtual wine tasting with cheese pairing—a concept that was born out of necessity but one we hope to continue long after our borders open and life returns to normal. Francesca Vajra, of the G.D. Vajra winery in Barolo, Italy, helped us kick off Valentine’s weekend with a guided tasting of a flight of her family’s wines. Sly Rooster Cheese created a curated Italian Cheese Box, featuring charcuterie, fruits, olives, nuts and of course cheeses that were carefully selected to compliment the featured wines.
